News autumn 2018
Damian Clarke and George Whitfield are to play two venues on the same bill
in October 2018. Each of them will play a set of their current solo material
with some collaboration.
Thursday October 11th
The Star, 539 Fishponds Rd, Bristol BS16 3AF, FREE, 8pm
Damian to play a solo set followed by George, with two sets of rocking
accordion. The Star is a fantastic Irish-run pub, nominated for best Irish
pub awards in 2017 and 2018.
Friday October 12th
Big Untidy Night Out, The Rising Sun Arts, 30 Silver St, Reading RG1 2ST
The BU nights are curated with loads of interesting musicians and poets,
etc and on this special occasion Damian will be presenting his music
alongside Art pieces that relate to the music, played on the Hammer
Dulcimer and Hurdy Gurdy. George will likewise be playing surrounded
by his extraordinary instruments made from up-cycled objects.
